December 14, 2015
As an adult you know it is important to take care of your own dental health. You know that your dental health is critical in maintaining good overall health. However, you may not think about your children.
It is important for parents to start good dental habits for their kids at a young age. These habits can not only maintain a healthy mouth but also a healthy life.
Poor dental habits can affect kids at a very young age. If proper habits are not formed it can cause cavities and other health problems. Dentists everywhere agree that as soon as a tooth comes in it needs to be cared for. Unfortunately, it has been found that sixty percent of parents do not start caring for their children’s teeth this early on.
Another good habit to start for your children is to see the dentist. Your child’s first visit to see Dr. Faist should occur six months after their first teeth have arrived.
If you would like to start taking proper care of your children’s teeth or are curious about what toothbrushes and toothpastes are the best please contact Dr. Faist today at his office in Beachwood, OH.
