Originally from Broadview Heights, she is excited to use her passion for dentistry, extensive education, and love for meeting new people to help her friends and neighbors achieve the healthiest and happiest smiles possible. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Mollica always liked working with her hands and being a part of a team. Originally, she combined these passions as a Physician Assistant at Fairview Hospital. Now that she has spent more than five years helping patients improve the look and functions of their smiles, she always looks back and wonders why she didn’t become a dentist sooner! She truly loves meeting new people, developing relationships, and, more importantly, making a positive impact on others. Plus, the latest technological advancements allow her to constantly grow personally and professionally – another aspect of being a dentist that she truly enjoys.
Where Did You Study Dentistry
Before going to dental school, Dr. Mollica attended Case Western Reserve University and Arcadia University. Once she realized she wanted to be a dentist, she chose to attend The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. From there, she completed a General Practice Residency at Mercy Medical Hospital in Canton, Ohio.
Although her knowledge is no doubt impressive, Dr. Mollica hasn’t stopped her quest to further her skillset. In addition to undergoing additional training in treatments like Invisalign, she is an active member of professional organizations, including:
- American Dental Association
- Ohio State Dental Association
As a result, she has the talent and training needed to do her favorite thing: be a part of someone’s best smile!
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Away from the office, Dr. Mollica loves spending time with her husband, Jim, and their three boys, Noah, Owen, and Cody. As a family, they love to travel, camp in their RV, and be outdoors. She also enjoys crafting, running, and biking in her free time!
